Ploutarchos Alonefti went from Nicosia to NCAA Division I. He won a Division II National Championship at the University of Charleston, took All American honours, then moved up to Lipscomb University where he led the entire nation in assists. Ploutarchos Alonefti went from Nicosia to NCAA Division I. 2019 to 2021, University of Charleston, Division II. I started my college career in West Virginia. In my first season I won Freshman of the Year and we took the regular season, the conference tournament and the NCAA Division II National Championship. The following year I earned All American honours and we returned to the national final.

2022 to 2023, Lipscomb University, Division I. I moved up to Lipscomb in Nashville. Year one we won the conference and finished ranked ninth in the country. Year two I led the entire nation in assists, we took a third consecutive conference title and reached the round of 32.
